Designer Spotlight: Organic by John Patrick

Last Tuesday I attended the Organic by John Patrick Spring/Summer 2011 presentation at the Ace Hotel and I must say I was truly blown away! Inspired by water, the collection is a fresh spin on classic feminine looks with floppy hats, floral prints and below the knee hemlines.

The new line embodies the spirit of water from the tender to the tragic, and as Patrick laments, “from floods to falls to lack thereof.” Hoping to rouse reverence in a resource that is central to being, Organic’s eco-conscious SS 2011 is grounded in Patrick’s need to do more to protect the environment.
